I have obtained my PsyD from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, an APA accredited program. I am currently working towards licensure, as Post-Doctoral Fellow, while under clinical supervision. In my clinical work I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families alike. My theoretical orientation is integrative, with a strong basis in humanistic/existential approaches, including emotion-focused therapy techniques, with incorporation of systems theory, positive psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, use of play therapy, and a collaborative and proactive solutions approach. Currently, I am most interested in the treatment of disorders and issues related to identity, attachment, relational problems, depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief and loss, behavioral problems, parenting issues, and adoption.

I provide a compassionate and collaborative approach. Sometimes this means I provide parenting training or involve family members in treatment. Empathy is at the core of the treatment I provide, while implementing a customized approach per client.

I meet my clients where they are at and can implement a variety of therapies depending on the need. My passion is working with children and couples. Additionally, I am a Level Two Gottman Couples Therapist and a Level Two Emotion-Focused Therapy provider.
